These photo slide shows are from the events of 2010 at Bear River Camp
1- Oasis Men's work weekend June 4-6. The river was very high flooding some parts of camp. A few days before camp the temperatures had dropped to 25 and on Friday when the men arrived it rained pretty hard. But Saturday morning the sun came out and we had a beautiful day. Huge amounts of work got done! We painted the mess hall floor, elevated and leveled C cabin, re-decked B and C cabins, Sided the bathhouse, cut and hauled dead trees, took a load to the dump, and more. Thank you very, very much to the Oasis Men's group!
2- 2010 flood; soon after the men left on Sunday it started raining again and by Monday morning the flood was worse than I have seen in over 10 years. This is one reason we don't have regular camps in early June.
